The team took sanitary products,toiletries and water to Kumasi central prison the female ward. it was both a nostalgic and happy moment. We were not allowed to take our camera inside but the experience in there was both great and amazing.

We got an opportunity to interact with the prisoners individually, we learnt and lot and also had fun all together.

Our desire is that every year we would visit them with more toiletries and sanitary products.

One discovery we made was that the prisoners were taught how to use beads to make slippers. The products from some of the prisoners were just beautiful. LLF patronised some of the slippers and sent it to the street to donate to street kids in Kumasi Asafo Market
